The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is the world’s leading professional body for people responsible for safety and health in the workplace. 2. National Safety Council

The National Safety Council is a 501 nonprofit, public service organization promoting health and safety in the United States of America. Headquartered in Itasca, Illinois, NSC is a member organization, founded in 1913 and granted a congressional charter in 1953.

3. British Safety Council:

The British Safety Council is a Registered Charity founded by James Tye in 1957. It is one of the world’s leading Health and Safety organisations alongside the likes of IOSH & IIRSM, the Council’s members are mostly companies.

4. Canadian Center for Occupational Health and Safety

The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) is an independent departmental corporation under Schedule II of the Financial Administration Act and is accountable to Parliament through the Minister of Labour.

CCOHS functions as the primary national agency in Canada for the advancement of safe and healthy workplaces and preventing work-related injuries, illnesses and deaths.

5. American Society of Safety Professionals

The American Society of Safety Professionals is a global association for occupational safety and health professionals. For more than 100 years, the association have supported occupational safety and health (OSH) professionals in their efforts to prevent workplace injuries, illnesses and fatalities. We provide education, advocacy, standards development and a professional community to our members in order to advance their careers and the OSH profession as a whole.

6. Canadian Society of Safety Engineering

The Canadian Society of Safety Engineering is a Canadian association which promotes accident prevention. It was founded in 1949 by a small group of individuals drawn together in the common cause of accident prevention.
The World Safety Organization (WSO) was founded in 1975 as a result of an international conference, organized by the Safety Organization of the Philippines Inc. (SOPI), in Manila, Philippines.  There were over 1,000 delegates from over 20 countries represented at that conference (Thailand, USA, Japan, Australia, China, Iran, Singapore, Spain, Nigeria, Sweden, Iraq, Turkey, Yugoslavia, Papua New Quinea, Philippines, Hong Kong, and others).  On that occasion the conference delegates agreed on the need for an international exchange of information, programs, new research methods, and data, in the areas of safety, environment, and all associated fields.
8. British International Safety Organization

The UK SHE organisation is a health and safety management organisation registered and dedicated to preparing the upcoming and practicing professionals for the challenges of a rewarding career. Members go on to pursue professions in high demand fields in oil and gas, information technology, hospitality, medicine, maritime, project management, engineering, business administration, health sciences and environmental management.9. Safety Alliance

The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management is a professional body that offers recognition, information and support to over 8,000 Members around the world in all areas of risk and safety management.
