Experience Requirements:

Reliable and accurate in his feedback to hierarchy.

Practical Knowledge regarding Energy Isolation (Low / High voltage) (Project without electrical supervisor).

Good knowledge and practice on all technical safety aspect.

Good knowledge of technical aspect of erection/construction Good communication skills and ability to stick to principles Good ability to work within a team

Some knowledge regarding technical aspects in the construction of cement plant Some knowledge in local laws and regulations on occupational health & safety. Necessary computer skills.
Job & Responsibilities:
-
Leads his safety crew and Coaches when necessary
-
Ability to conduct Risk Assessment Insure coherence between PTW and site activities including co activities.

Controls implementation of safety rules and procedures
-
Follows up on all remedial actions plan driven by Safety officers
-
Carries out permanent site tours to check on safety aspects Keeps himself informed on all safety aspects on site

Teamwork with Safety specialist supervisor for safety related topics, and site engineers for work methodology.

Controls the various contractor’s reports and equipment certificates Reports conflicts regarding safety aspects

Reports any incidents to the Safety Manager
Objectives:

Under management of Safety Manager, Coordinate Safety Officers work in order to:

Contractor enforces all safety aspects on site Consistence of Permit to Work versus work performed Lafarge Group Safety Standards are implemented

Contractor enforces cleanliness and hygiene on site and premises.

Aims for zero accidents
Educational Background:
-
Completion of intermediate education.
-
Good knowledge of written and spoken French.
