It is a well-known fact that NEBOSH is the leading Health Safety and environment management examination board, which awards a wide range of certifications in Health and safety.
In its aim to serve the Health and safety community better, NEBOSH will be launching its new Health and Safety at Work book at Intersec.
This launching will be held from 22nd -24th January 2017 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The new Health and Safety at Work book contains the new syllabus for NEBOSH’s popular Award in Health and Safety at Work (HSW).
The new specification was released in July 2016, and will start being taught and examined from February 2017. NEBOSH had consulted with their accredited course providers, received inputs from them before coming up with a new content for this qualification.
The 130-page book provides all the knowledge needed to aid students working towards the examinations.
It features activities and case studies which illustrate the key areas covered by the syllabus and is ideal for use when studying or revising.
The book is also a valuable ‘on the job’ reference tool with sections on risk assessment, as well as new statistics and updated legislation.
Since the Health and safety at work book is available in 6 (Six) different languages, The Health and Safety at Work qualification is open to a wide range of people who are interested in a career in health and safety; language not being a barrier.
“The Award in Health and Safety at Work is a qualification of choice among companies who want to provide a good introduction to health and safety and get all employees to a common standard.
It is offered by over 200 NEBOSH accredited course providers globally, over 50 of whom are in the Middle East. Over 900 students successfully completed the qualification in the last year and 93% of these would recommend the qualification to others”.
Director of Relationship Management at NEBOSH Stuart Naylor had said: “Our Health and Safety at Work qualification is the foundation of health and safety in many organisations, so there’s obviously a lot of interest in how we’ve modified the qualification. Intersec will provide the perfect platform for us to launch the new book. We invite new and existing students and course providers to visit us on stand 7-G30 to find out more.”
