Construction international organization is hiring a Site HSE Manager
Job Description:
Will lead and oversee all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives for the High-Speed Rail construction project, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment while minimizing environmental impact.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive HSE management plan for the project.
- Conduct regular HSE risk assessments and audits, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for all project personnel, including contractors and subcontractors.
- Investigate and report all incidents and accidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage the project’s environmental impact, including noise control, dust suppression, and waste management.
- Maintain a strong safety culture on-site, promoting safe work practices and procedures.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders on HSE matters.
- Monitor and report on key HSE performance indicators.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a construction HSE role, preferably within the railway sector.
- Strong understanding of Egyptian HSE regulations and best practices.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive safety culture on-site.
- Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Possession of relevant HSE certifications (NEBOSH IGC, IOSH) is a Must.
Working hours: 8 hr – 6 days a week.
Location of the position: HSR Sites – New capital or 6th October city.
