Job Title: Safety Health Environment Specialist- Energy Meter Deployment

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain emergency response plans and business continuity strategies.
• Monitor and analyze safety data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Coordinate and participate in safety committee meetings to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies for hazardous tasks and processes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging safety technologies to ensure continuous improvement in safety programs.
• Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote a positive

Requirements:
– Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.

– Power industry/Meter background, SHE certification required
