NSC Presents 2025 CEOs Who 'Get It'

The National Safety Council, America’s leading nonprofit safety advocate, announces the 2025 CEOs Who “Get It,” recognizing leaders who champion employee safety and wellbeing on and off the job. Six individuals will be recognized in the February issue of Safety+Health magazine.

The 2025 CEOs Who “Get It” have built their organization’s safety strategy using four key components: risk reduction, performance measurement, safety management solutions, and leadership and employee engagement.

This year’s recipients are:

  • Christl A. Aggus, CEO, Principle Safety (Former CEO, Health and Safety Professionals Canada)
  • Matt Brewer, President and CEO, Choate Construction Co.
  • James D. Danella, CEO and Chair, Danella Companies
  • Bob Fullington, President, Roy Anderson Corp.
  • Mike Jansen, CEO, Faith Technologies Inc.
  • Jennifer Scanlon, President and CEO, UL Solutions

“To some, safety is a guideline and, to others, a requirement,” said Lorraine Martin, NSC president and CEO. “This year’s recipients are among those who understand safety is more than just a regulation – it’s about enabling people to make it home each night so they can live their lives to the fullest. I want to congratulate and extend my gratitude to these honorees, who are constantly innovating in the realm of workplace safety and inspiring others to do the same.”
