Investigation following construction site death at new Everton football stadium – The 26 year old was taken to hospital in a stable condition at approximately 12:30 BST, after sustaining an injury on the Bramley Moore Dock site, according to Merseyside Police.
The police said they had informed the man’s family and that an investigation was in its early stages.
The Health and Safety Executive said it had “officials on site” who were asking questions.
The club’s new ground is set to be finished in late 2024, with Goodison Park having opened in 1892.
