I am looking for an HSE Supervisor for one of our Clients in the renewable energy sector. The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of HSE activities in the Power Plant, and take all necessary and reasonable actions to prevent harm to people, equipment, and the environment, whilst ensuring compliance with legal requirements, organizational standards and contractual obligations.
Salary: 4000 AZN net
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree holder in Safety, Environmental or Engineering or demonstrable equivalent.
- Certification from a recognized HSSE institution (NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, IEMA, etc.)
- Professional membership or association with an international HSSE Institution (OSHA, IOSH, IEMA, etc.)
Minimum Experience:
- 5 years experience in HSSE in the Utilities / Energy sector
Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of local regulations and international standards for HSSE
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to foster a culture of safety by leading by example.
- Self-motivated, critical thinker, tenacious and curious
- Competent in English writing, reading, and listening.
Site Based requirements:
- Willing to join GWO training and other required certifications
Climbing up the turbine is included in the job, working at heights is mandatory
The position is based at sites, in Khizi and Gobustan, which may increase in the future
Travel is also required for business purposes.
