Job Vacancy: HSE Engineer
Department: COSL Saudi Drilling Well Tech
Location: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE
Experience Required:
- At least 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- At least 1 year of work experience related to HSE
Qualification Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Work Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related HSE field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with relevant national safety laws and regulations, practice the company’s health, safety, and environmental protection philosophy, actively participate in the company’s safety culture-building activities, and implement the COSL QHSE management system.
- Assist in making HSE plans and recommendations for HSE management.
- Implement the HSE plan and ensure that the whole process of project operation meets HSE management requirements.
- Bridge COSL QHSE system with local customers’ HSE requirements.
- Refine HSE policy and regulations according to local laws and customer requirements.
- Conduct HSE training for project team staff.
- Manage all types of HSE documents and records.
- Perform other relevant work tasks assigned by superiors.
Skills & Competencies:
- Familiar with local laws and regulations related to HSE
- Familiar with the oil & gas industry
- Familiar with HSE management
- Strong computer and document processing skills
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English, both oral and written
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Dedicated and hardworking with consistent strong execution
- Professional ethics, good at teamwork and cooperation
Languages:
- Fluent in English and Arabic. Proficiency in Chinese would be a plus
