About this role
From our head office in Schiedam, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and possibly travel to places like South-East Asia to see your work come to life on some of the world’s major offshore, oil and gas projects.
Our clients need SLP Engineers like you at the helm, someone who can always determine the best course of action after considering all possible outcomes.
You will be responsible for the process safety management activities on projects for their Floating Production Units.
We are searching for the type of person who gets a certain satisfaction from solving complex problems with an understanding that there is always more than one solution to an issue.
From conceptual studies to front end engineering, you will set the design safety priorities for all projects, mitigating risks when they arise and developing the Hazard Management Plan.
Having colleagues who are working towards the same goals only makes the work more exciting and a team of SLP Engineers will support you along the way so you are not on your own.
It can be a demanding job but you have a wealth of experience to rely on with an engineering MSc or BSc under your belt.
At least 10 years of experience in technical safety is required and you’re up-to-date with international standards applicable to the hydrocarbon processing industry.
You have excellent technical expertise throughout the Safety and Loss Prevention discipline and are familiar with review methods such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA etc.
You also have the ability and willingness to travel.
