We are looking for an HSSE Partner (ECO) to join our Obligation Delivery Team to cover the East Midlands area.

You’ll support The Obligation Delivery (OD) Team in driving and promoting Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) standards across our contractor base employed to install Energy Efficient Measures in domestic properties across the UK, partnering E.ON in meeting its Obligation. Help the ODSHEQ and the wider OD Team to maintain and develop a holistic and interdependent SHE strategy that provides reassurance to E.ON that its contractors are managing Installation activity to agreed standards of HSSE best practice which include full compliance with HSE legislation, CDM principles, E.ON company policy and standards.
This is an important role that will involve making sure that our partners are working efficiently, in line with our Safety, Health & Environment guidelines and to our high-quality standards. Specifically, you’ll need to make sure they’re following all Energy Company Obligation requirements, taking a holistic overview and always looking to identify any areas for improvement. We’ll be relying on you to influence behaviours, and to take responsibility for initial decisions in the field around legal compliance.
You’ll work closely with the Obligation delivery teams and their partners to develop leading indicators to identify shortfalls in HSSE practices and also support your Manager, the SHEQ Team Manager and members of the Obligation delivery teams in implementing and adhering to the requirements of the Obligation Delivery HSSE management system.
Responsible for Producing regular and timely MI and trend analysis as requested, that provides reassurance to Obligation Delivery Team that its contractors are managing Installation activity to agreed standards of HSSE best practice which includes, full compliance with HSSE legislation, CDM principles, E.ON company policy and standards.

It would be great if you had:
A good knowledge of relevant HSSE Legislation.
Experience of driving performance improvement with internal and external stakeholders.
Full UK driving licence.
Must be prepared to travel UK wide with occasional overnight stays and flexible approach to working hours.
An understanding of the principles of risk assessment.
Knowledge of the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001, 18001.
Computer literate on Microsoft Office packages.
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent or working towards.
It would be nice if you also had:
NEBOSH Environmental certificate or equivalent or working towards.
Experience of working in Construction environment including knowledge of CDM principles.
CISRS Card or working towards.
CSCS Card or working towards
