Job DetailsĀ 

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of HSEQ Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:

In depth knowledge of and application of the standards and accreditations appropriate to the company’s business needs, able to make recommendations and manage/monitor against these standards.

Manage the BMS to ensure it is maintained in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, BS EN 14001 and PED 97/23/EC and other relevant National &/or International standards.

Develop, implement, monitor, review and maintain relevant aspects of the BMS i.e. procedures, forms, work instructions, etc., to ensure that targets set for achievement of continual improvement are met.

Develop and maintain Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental inputs into the FPAL accreditation on an annual basis, ensuring consistent or improved scores.

Input into Company Bids & Tender process for QHSE activities, ensuring relevant, accurate & compelling input is provided.

Liaise with the HSEQ Manager and the project delivery team on all matters of QHSE Management to ensure integrity from FEED studies to package delivery.

Liaise with the project process owners and Notified Bodies in establishing their delivery processes and procedures.

Plan and lead (as necessary) assessment visits / audits to suppliers and sub-contractors as agreed.

Liaise with client to ensure Company compliance with relevant specifications, standards &/or codes of practice.

Co-ordinate, conduct &/or support internal, external and third party project specific audit activities, review audit findings and monitor progress to close-out relevant corrective or preventive action.

Support the subcontractor / supplier evaluation processes for specific clients and monitor subcontractor / supplier performance.



Technically qualified professional (or equivalent) ONC Level.

Associate Member of appropriate Professional institution.

CQI Auditor / Lead Auditor Certificate

Chartered Member of appropriate Professional institution.
Chartered Engineer

Significant experience in multi discipline projects in the oil & gas sector with sound technical background and wide ranging expertise.
