We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor for our Orlando District office to work at a project located in East Rutherford, NJ .

Responsibilities:

Assist with the development and implementation of the project specific HSE plan.

Assist with the development of safe work practices and job hazard analyses.

Delivery of Safety programs to site personnel and safety orientation.

Implement, and supervise HSE programs in compliance with company standards, state and OSHA regulations.

Assist with the implementation and monitoring of the PSI program and conduct PSI audits.

Incident reporting, OSHA record keeping, field construction activities, inspections.

Demonstrate commitment to PCL HSE policies and goal for zero incidents

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of construction field safety experience.

Background in safety programs related to construction and demolition work activities.

Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
Hazard anticipation, identification, and assessment expertise; and incident investigation experience.

Experience administering and enforcing occupational health and industrial hygiene policies, procedures, and standards.

The successful candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.

Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) and other construction industry related software.

Valid driver license

Preferred Qualifications:
Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety/Health or related field.

CPR/First Aid Certification.

OSHA 30 Certification. GSP, ASP or CHST Certification.
