Role Summary:

The HS&E Specialist will be aligned to specific businesses or site or project supporting Leadership Team, Operational Managers and Employees to ensure be in Compliance with Company policies, best practices and customers requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide support and technical guidance to our clients.

Provide support and technical guidance to Pressure Control and other PL field operations personnel in the region to ensure programs are effectively implemented and maintained.

Manage any HSE issues that may arise during activities at customer sites for the business
Provide support to BHGE Shop & Field Service personnel at site and guarantee basic HSE standards (i.e. implementation of High Risk and Permit to Work procedures)

Assist in the development and review of HSE programs ensuring compliance with all local regulations, customer safety standards and BHGE requirements.

Investigate safety/environmental incidents conducting root cause analysis and drive Implementation of corrective actions, plan/conduct safety talks.

Coordinate HSE risk assessments and audit program, propose and implement improvements for the region.

Work closely with Field Service operations, regional leaders, HSE HQ & our clients to drive BHGE programs.

Assist BHGE Global Health Services to implement an effective Medical Services program, particularly for employees working in remote locations.

Drive HSE performance metrics and risk mitigation improvements across regional Field Services operations.

Assist BHGE Security Director with remote site security.

Participate in BHGE HSE Global Operations team, leading projects where applicable
Liaison with Global Operations Regional teams for effective implementation of programs and policies.

Drive the operationalization of HSE activities; promote of HSE culture and awareness, internally and externally.

Coordinate and provide training for field service employees.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

Minimum of 5 additional years of experience HS&E field services developed in the Oil & Gas Market.

Besides, experience, with exposure to regional compliance programs, auditing activities at customer sites, and evaluation and mitigation of High Risk Operations
Fluent Spanish, Advanced English level desired.

Desired Characteristics:

Program management skills.

Gensuite background knowledge a plus
Proficient in Spanish and English languages.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities.

Team player with a global perspective
Member of associated professional organization (ASSE, NAEM, IOSH etc.)
