About the role:
- Proactively support line management, in meeting their HSE responsibilities with technical, organizational, and procedural advice, and country/ region-specific legislative compliance, within the area of responsibility
- Development and promotion of We Care and an excellent culture of care across Offshore operational and contract teams, within the area of responsibility
- Develop the team, within the area of responsibility, of HSE professionals and specialists external HSE experts in Offshore operations
- Liaising and driving lessons learned with initiatives together with HSE counterparts
- Planning, steering, and follow-up of all Offshore HSE measures in coordination with the Head of HSE Offshore Operations and the Team Lead HSE Offshore Operations, Continental Europe
- Support the development and implementation of the HSE management system, safe systems of work procedures, and other risk control measures within the area of responsibility
- Responsible for data analysis, targeted campaigns, programs, and initiatives within Offshore Operations in the UK
- Risk identification and mitigation, conducting and supporting incident investigations and root cause analysis within the area of responsibility
- Support effective contractor engagement to ensure high HSE standards when contractors conduct work within the area of responsibility
- Representing RWE RES at relevant external Offshore Wind forums and associations as required
Job requirements and experience:
- Hold a NEBOSH Certificate, ideally working towards a NEBOSH Diploma
- Hold an IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management
- Experience in leading teams
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels through verbal and written communication including advanced listening skills
- Have a lead of being involved with HSE leadership training
- Experience in behavioral safety techniques and delivering behavioral safety training would be desirable
- Good health, with general round fitness to work in an offshore environment, is a requirement for the role
- Expertise in offshore lifting, handling, and loading out of heavy components and tools
- Experience in managing JUV campaigns
