HSE Emergency Management & Business Continuity Plan Specialist
Location : Kuala Lumpur
Term : 1 year contrat

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
▪ Competent trainer in Crisis Management/Emergency Response and recognised by certified body;
▪ Review current emergency related procedures of the following entities to ensure alignment of processes and compliance to relevant regulatory / industry standards;
▪ Able to perform gap assessment and provide recommendations to improve the existing emergency management system;
▪ Update the Emergency Management Plan (EMP) in accordance with the recommendations that have been agreed;
▪ Design and deliver training programs for the Emergency Management Team (EMT) covering their roles and responsibilities and decision-making during major emergency situations to build the confidence and competence of the team members;
▪ Ensure the training provides maximum understanding, comprehension and retention of the information presented;
▪ Evaluate participants’ performance and identify gaps in knowledge or skills that require further development using tools such as written assessments and practical assessments (role playing exercise and/or group activities) shall be utilized;
▪ Conduct Tier 2 (with potential escalation to Tier 3) emergency exercises to assess EMT readiness and response capabilities to various emergency scenarios, and validate the effectiveness of the EMP.
EXPERIENCE:
▪ Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant working experience in oil and gas industry with offshore operations, FPSO and shipbuilding exposures in the oil & gas industry.
▪ Experience in crisis / major emergency management, certification in Incident Command System(ICS) is an added advantage.
▪ Proficiency in HSE rules, regulations and standards related to Emergency Management
QUALIFICATION:
▪ Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Health & Safety Management / Environmental Management / Engineering
▪ Professional certification recognised by certified body in Emergency Management and BCP is advantageous.
▪ Proficiency in English both verbal and written.
