Job Summary: The HSE Coordinator works on the HSE RAVS team to facilitate desktop audits of health and safety programs, coordinate process improvement initiatives, provide safety related technical support to clients, and participate in various research activities. It requires that one possess familiarity with U.K. and/or European legislation and standards, be self motivated, and willing to assist with all of the day-to-day demands inherent to a rapidly growing organization.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

Research, develop, and enhance health and safety review protocols as necessitated by legislated requirements.

Assist and support ISNetworld contractor/ supplier clients; meet clients at their locations.

Perform desktop audits of health and safety programs; verify statistical information.

Coordinate various review protocol development and implementation initiatives.

Proactively analyze processess and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement.

Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.

All employees have a professional duty to provide any information related to security issues, incidents or situations that present a potential security risk to the ISO Team, ISN Management or their Supervisor.

Research and develop various resources and reference documents for clients.

Approximately 25% travel for meetings with customers.

Other tasks and projects as directed by supervisors.

Job Requirements

Education and Training

Bachelor’s degree in the area of occupational health and safety or equivalent from an accredited university.

1 – 3 years HSE experience
ASP/GSP certification a plus

Knowledge and Skills
Fluent Dutch or French Language skills (both verbal and written) strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.

Demonstrated personal initiative, ability to work with minimal supervision.

Solid verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Desire to assume increasing levels of leadership responsibility.

Physical and Safety Requirements

Sitting, bending, standing, walking, typing and/or speaking at least 8 hours per day
Able to regularly lift and move up to 7 kgs
