The HSE Administrator is accountable for maintaining tracking and filing of all HSE forms including Inspections, Hazards, Observations, Safe Work Agreements, Safety Alert Bulletins, Job Safety Analyses and Dispatch Orders. This position is also responsible for entering incident reports and targeting analysis.
Track and present data of monthly safety visits.
Provide monthly compilations of outstanding dispatch orders and safety alert bulletins.
Book and process invoices of accommodations and flights for HSE and operational staff.
Coordinate and book off-site meeting rooms and process invoices upon receipt.
Prepare documents and presentations for monthly HSE and operational meetings.
Distribute “Safety Alert Bulletins” to field and office locations.
Send monthly Hazard Identification “picks” to corporate office.
Run queries and present data as requested
Assist in the preparation of various manuals and information-based binders.
Format and proof-read documents as required.
Provide administrative support for our claims management group and other locations as required.
Assist in filling orders for shipping/receiving department as required.
Track rig-specific safety documentation.
Produce monthly rig-specific reports, showing statistical information and equipment tracking
Knowledge & Skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written.
Motivation to develop skills associated to administration and safety.
Ability to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis.
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain accurate and detailed information.
Must be a team player who is able to take direction.
High School Diploma is required
Post-secondary degree Is considered an asset.
Previous office administration experience
Previous HSE (Safety) administration experience would be an asset.
