Work internally with the Health, Safety Environment team to provide administrative support as required. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload. This position offers flexible hours and work locations.
Work independently with minimal supervision and within a team on ongoing projects.
Manage workflow for the asbestos program and provide administrative support as assigned.
Assist with the preparation, assembly, and distribution of HSE documents.
Coordinate with vendors to set up new projects and generate purchase orders.
Work with suppliers to create account-specific health and safety product database.
Assit with planning, coordinating, and implementing account-wide HSE training, including developing a comprehensive training matrix.
Perform accurate word processing, presentation packages, and spreadsheets
Enterting third of fourth year of an undergraduate or college occupational health, safety, and/or environmental program.
Minimum of one previous intership or placement in an office environment.
Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages, graphics, and spreadsheets.
Excellent oral and written communication skills (spelling and grammar), good phone skills, organized, able to set priorities and meet deadlines, able to multitask, carefully proofs own work.
Proven record of providing excellent customer service, both internal and external.
Full fluency in English is mandatory, preference for candidates who are proficient in French.
