We are currently seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our experienced Civil Structural Engineering Team based in Newcastle.  This role presents a great opportunity to gain valuable experience across key industry sectors as you gain exposure to Hydrocarbons, Minerals & Metals, and Infrastructure projects.
 
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:  
  • Deliver discipline specific engineering services that meet WorleyParsons, its clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements;
  • Perform engineering assignments on projects that meet project requirements on time and within budget;
  • Perform discipline specific engineering services such as; identify and report changes to scope, contribute to appropriate studies, analysis and recommend actions, assist with preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports;
  • Provide technical support within the discipline team, liaise with the project team and consult with relevant resources as required;
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions and ask for assistance if required.

 

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: 
  • Preferably 1-3 years post graduate experience, ideally with some exposure to Hydrocarbons or Minerals and Metals projects;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering;
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace is essential;
  • You will be a team player, with proven communication skills enabling you to establish and maintain effective relationships;
  • A flexible approach to work is essential for this role.
