Job Description 

A national Risk Management Consultancy are looking to grow their team and bring in a Facilities Health & Safety Risk Assessor to join their team. The position will be working with a range of clients across various sectors, providing Health & Safety audits, Fire Risk Assessments and Asbestos Management Surveys and Re-Inspections. The role has scope for development into other facets of the business including Health & Safety consultancy, CDM 2015 consultancy and Health & Safety training. The candidate will be required to travel to clients nationwide, with flexible remote working and a company car/car allowance provided.

The role of the Facilities Health & Safety Risk Assessor will be:

  • Carrying out Health & Safety Audits, Fire Risk Assessments to clients
  • Supporting the consultancy’s  Property Owner, Managing Agent and Facilities Maintenance clients
  • To conduct Asbestos Management Surveys and Re-inspections on client sites
  • Visiting clients nationwide, meaning occasional overnight stay needed, with travel and expenses all covered

The Facilities Health & Safety Risk Assessor will have:

  • 2+ years’ experience within a Health & Safety, Fire Safety, or Asbestos Surveying role
  • A NEBOSH General Certificate / NCRQ Certificate, or equivalent
  • A NEBOSH Fire Certificate (or equivalent)
  • The P402 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying Certificate, or other relevant asbestos qualification
  • Membership to IOSH (Technical level membership or higher)
