Environmental Health and Safety Job in Agbara, Nigeria

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2-5 Years Cognate Experience in Environmental Health & Safety Management System.
  • Programs in Manufacturing / Supply Chain Environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive EHS Programs in Machinery Safety Programs.
  • Drive EHS Communication and awareness Programs Across Site.
  • EHS Audits Governance.
  • EHS Incident Management.
  • Emergency Planning, Response and Preparedness.
  • Waste Management.

Related Job Requirement

  • Technical Skills
  • Ability to lead and Implement EHS Management System Programs across the Supply Chain
  • Knowledge of international Health, Safety and Environment Management Standards and Statutory
    requirements for Factory, Warehousing and Workplaces is required
  • Ability to solve problems in specialist areas such as Process Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Management, Chemical Safety, Construction Safety etc.

Generic Competencies

  • Good knowledge of EHS Management Systems Implementation in the Manufacturing Sector
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Good Facilitation skills
  • Computer Knowledge (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint)

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 2-5 Years Cognate Experience in Environmental Health & Safety Management System
  • Programs in Manufacturing / Supply Chain Environment.

Qualification

  • HND or Degree in Science or Natural Science Discipline
  • HSE Level 3 certificate
  • ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 Management System Internal Auditor Certificate.
