Job Title: Junior HSE Officer / Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities

The Junior HSE / Safety Officer will work under the supervision of the HSE Manager or Senior Safety Officer and will be responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of the company’s Health and Safety Management System.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and enforcing health and safety policies, procedures, and site rules

• Conduct daily safety inspections across production areas, workshops, and warehouses

• Identify workplace hazards and unsafe conditions and report findings to management

• Support risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and method statement reviews

• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, labor laws, and company standards

• Monitor use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce compliance

• Assist in incident, accident, and near-miss reporting and investigation

• Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and safety meetings

• Maintain accurate HSE records, inspection checklists, and reports

• Support emergency preparedness drills, including fire and evacuation exercises

• Assist in contractor and visitor safety induction programs

• Promote a positive safety culture among workers and supervisors

• Support environmental safety practices such as waste handling and spill prevention

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure safe work practices at all times

Minimum Qualification Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the minimum qualifications below:

Mandatory Requirements

NEBOSH Certification (IGC or equivalent) – MUST
Any recognized Bachelor’s Degree (Science, Engineering, Environmental Health, Physiology, or related fields preferred)

Applications without NEBOSH certification will not be considered.

Experience Requirements

• Experience: No bar

• Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

• Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial safety will have an added advantage
