Key Responsibilities

As an HSE Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all safety and health regulations are implemented and adhered to across the project site. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Implement and Monitor HSE Policies and Procedures

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies, programs, and procedures in compliance with SEC and company standards.

  • Ensure that all project teams understand and follow the company’s safety policies and protocols.

  • Continuously review and improve HSE processes to reflect industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

2. Conduct Safety Inspections and Risk Assessments

  • Perform regular site inspections to identify hazards and evaluate risk levels.

  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and safety evaluations for ongoing projects.

  • Recommend corrective actions and preventive measures to minimize workplace accidents and incidents.

3. Incident Investigation and Reporting

  • Lead investigations for workplace incidents, near misses, and accidents to determine root causes.

  • Prepare detailed investigation reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

4. Compliance Assurance

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering field (Safety, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred).

  • Professional Certifications:

    • Valid NEBOSH Certification (IGC or Diploma).

    • OSHA Certification or equivalent recognized safety certification.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in construction, industrial, or energy sectors.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance standards.
