Job Role Summary
An Environmental Compliance Coordinator works to ensure that XTO properties and production are in compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations.
Job Role Responsibilities
Maintains, communicates and verifies effectively Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) programs.
Performs training to employees and contractors.
Must stay current in regulations and support company SHE initiatives.
Interface with regulatory agencies on routine/non-routine matters.
Identify, assess and mitgate hazards and communicate learnings.
Facilitate and conduct indcident investigations, inspections, assessments, etc.
Perform IH related sampling/monitoring programs.
Be available after hours for emergency response.
Assist with identifying systems/program improvement opportunities.
Expected Level of Proficiency
Thorough knowledge/understanding of OSHA regulations.
Minimum 3 yrs. oil/gas industry operations experience required.
General understanding of Environmental Regulations and spill response/cleanup procedures.
Strong knowledge of Emergency Response procedures/NIMS.
Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking to large audiences.
Strong computer skills to include the Microsoft Office suite of products and able to quickly learn new software.
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
