A construction company is looking for a Site Safety Officer. The Safety officer will be responsible for facilitating compliance with occupational safety guidelines on site for a project in Epe
Job description
Ensure workers practice safe working techniques
Implement and maintain health and safety standards
Recommend appropriate protective equipment workers should wear while carrying out their tasks
Carryout toolbox meeting, pep talk, induction.
Conduct assessment of possible risks and ensure preventive measures are taken
Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information
Ensure adherence with safety rules and regulation
Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify non conformity
Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years relevant experience as Safety Officer on construction site
Minimum ISPON Level 3
NEBOSH will be an added advantage
Must have in depth knowledge of safety procedures and processes
Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous practices
Familiarity with Construction site
Preferred candidate should be resident in Epe
Salary #70,000
