4PMCNL is sourcing for SAFETY ENGINEER:
Responsibilities:
- Support the OSL in actively leading Company HSE awareness and initiative schemes, and ensure compliance/application with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards on the operations site.
- Assist the OSL in implementing and maintaining the health, safety, and environment standards established by the Corporate HSE entity as they apply to the field operations and in compliance with the Referential.
- Participate in direct HSE studies and risk assessments undertaken for the design of installations and the execution of operations when the need arises.
Participate and drive Events CTA analysis and Incidents investigation. Reporting and follow-up actions close out as required. - Attend risk assessment sessions, control and monitor implementation of HSE Risk management procedure during preparation of works and operations.
- Participate in HAZIDS, HAZOPS, Project Technical Reviews
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree / HND in Engineering
- Professional Experience (number of years): Minimum of 7 years experience in various facets of the petroleum industry, with at least 3 years in health, safety, and environment positions.
- Knowledge of oil and gas operations. Good knowledge of national/international regulatory standards.
- Technical competencies to include a minimum of 3 years as Team Leader in Site Production Operations, and 2 years as HSE supervisor. Send CV to [email protected] open for Nigerians ONLY.
