Brief Details

BW Offshore is recruiting a Roving Reliability Engineer (2 years contract position) for the Technical and Maintenance Support (TMS) team under Engineering department. Employment will be in the Singapore office.

•To provide Technical and Maintenance support to the operating Units including Condition Monitoring program
•This position will be required to support the implementation of the Condition Monitoring program in the BW Offshore fleet.
•Visit the units to identify vibration measurement points and lube oil sample points and preparing the data for the Unit CBM Manual.
•Pictorially document vibration and lube oil measurement points for inclusion into the CBM Field Maintenance Manual.
•Provide In-house CBM, VCM, and lube oil Training for the Offshore Team as part on the Implementation.
•Visit the units to prepare and coach the offshore team for the DNV GL initial survey as well as ensuring all relevant information is available onboard for the survey.
•Visit the units and assist the offshore team during the DNV GL initial survey
•Travel to units to provide support for necessary corrective actions as required to include field, trouble shooting and correcting rotating equipment vibration issues such as balancing and alignment, etc.

Responsive Links

•Degree / Diploma in marine, mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent.
•Documented ISO Category 2 vibration analyst certification
•Documented ISO Category 2 / Level 2 machinery lubrication analyst certification (Desirable).

•Documented working experience from the marine or offshore industry.
•Good knowledge of Condition based maintenance including Vibration and Lube oil analysis
•Minimum five (5) years of condition monitoring experience to include Vibration (VCM) and Lube Oil analysis.
•At least 2 years of Operational experience (hands on) of rotating and reciprocating equipment such as gas compressors, Gas engines, pumps, turbines etc.

•High analytical capabilities.
•Good command of English, written and spoken.
•Ability to deliver high quality work on time.

•Willing to work on any BW Facilities.
