OSHA 10 is one of OSHA’s outreach programs. It is divided into two (2):

  • 10-Hour Training for Construction

  • 10-Hour Training for General Industry

OSHA 10 – Hour Training for Construction

OSHA recommends workplace safety training for a safe and healthful work environment, specifically for hazard avoidance on the job site. Our OSHA 10 Construction training is 100% online and covers specific OSHA regulations and requirements as they apply to the Construction Industry.

Workers who successfully complete our OSHA-authorized course will earn their official OSHA card from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). Our fully narrated and interactive course is intended as an orientation to OSHA safety training standards. It covers safety and health hazards workers may face on construction work sites, placing special emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention.

This OSHA 10-Hour Construction course covers a broad spectrum of valuable health and safety workplace topics that will familiarize you with OSHA Construction standards. These topics will include the OSHA Construction Focus Four, identifying common worksite hazards, tool operation and more.

OSHA 10 – Hour Training for General Industry

To maintain a healthy and safe work environment, OSHA recommends employees in various industries participate in workplace safety training. OSHA Education Center created this online course to address specific regulations as they apply to the General Industry and help you meet your workplace training requirements.

Our OSHA 10 course is designed to familiarize workers with OSHA standards as well as safety and health hazards common to the workplace. We’ve designed this training to be fully narrated and interactive with a goal to educate workers on identifying, avoiding, controlling, and preventing jobsite hazards.

OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training Topics

A variety of health and safety workplace topics are covered in the OSHA 10 General Industry Training course. All students who enroll and successfully complete this course will become familiarized with the standards and regulations that OSHA has set in place to make sure all employees function in a safe work environment. Topics will include and introduction to OSHA, emergency exit routes, material handling and more.

Testing

At the end of each module, you will be given a 10 question module quiz. You must score at least 70% on each module quiz to move forward in the course. You will be given up to three opportunities to pass each module quiz. Failure to successfully pass the quiz will result in being locked out of the course and not allowed to continue with an online training format for your Outreach training.

Once you have successfully completed all of the modules, you must pass a final exam to receive full credit for the course. The exam is 20 questions long and will test your knowledge on information covered throughout the course. You must make a score of at least 70% to pass this course. You will be given up to three opportunities to pass the final exam; if you do not pass it after three tries, you will be locked out of this course will no longer be able to take your Outreach training in an online format.

Time to Completion

Once you enroll in the OSHA 10-hour Construction Outreach Training course you have six months from the time you start this course to complete it in order to receive credit. After six months, your account will expire and you will be required to purchase the course again if you wish to complete it.

A temporary printable certificate will be made available immediately upon successful completion of course. Passing participants will receive a DOL Construction Outreach course completion wallet card within 2 weeks.

In order to receive your DOL Wallet Card you must complete the survey at the end of the course.

 

OSHA 30 Training Cost

The course is about $79 as at now.
