LASG Seals 19 Event Centres Over Safety Violations

LASG Seals 19 Event Centres Over Safety Violations – Nineteen event centers have been sealed by the Lagos Safety Commission due to safety violations.

According to a statement from the commission, this was revealed on Thursday during an on-the-spot evaluation of event centers throughout the state by the organization’s director general, Lanre Mojola.

Mojola claims that the exercise in safety assessment is part of a continuous campaign to support the commission’s objective to guarantee zero accidents, especially during the holiday season.

Prior to the exercise, according to Mojola, the commission had notified all event organizers via their respective associations of the necessity of implementing safety best practices at all events and of properly registering all events with 250 people or more through its registration system in order to receive an Event Safety Permit.
