IOSH Board of Trustees Has New Interim Chair

IOSH Board of Trustees Has New Interim Chair  – The IOSH Council has named Bobby Chakravarthy as the Acting Chair of the Board of Trustees.

The appointment was decided upon during the two days of October 9–10, 2024, Council, which represents IOSH’s members.

Since November 2020, Bobby has been an Independent Trustee on the IOSH Board. He has experience with capital investments, campaigns, finance, and business growth. His areas of expertise are corporate strategy and strategic management.

In his capacity as Interim Chair, he will supervise the implementation of IOSH’s five-year strategy, Activate 2028, while a comprehensive hiring procedure is carried out to select a new, permanent Chair.

Professor Peter Bonfield’s departure is the reason for this appointment. In his capacity as Chair of the Board from February 2021, he played a key role in the creation of Activate 2028, which was introduced in April 2023.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Peter for leading the Institution and to welcome Bobby as the new Interim Chair of the IOSH Board of Trustees.
