Position: HSSE Manager (Offshore)

Job Overview:
The HSSE Manager will oversee the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) aspects of offshore operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. The role involves implementing HSE strategies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safety culture within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct offshore site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to integrate HSE into all phases of offshore operations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related fields.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety Studies is an advantage.
Certifications: - NEBOSH IGC, and IOSH are mandatory. CSP or NEBOSH-Dip preferred.
- BOSIET training is required.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an HSSE Manager in offshore or construction industries.
- Minimum of 15 years, with at least 5 years in offshore roles.
- Only Gulf-experienced candidates should apply.
Technical Knowledge:
- Expertise in offshore safety regulations (e.g., IMO, STCW, SOLAS) and risk management tools (HAZOP, HAZID).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HSE management software.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze and resolve incidents through root cause investigations.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
