Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Trainer to join our reputable Oil and Gas Training Institute.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to professionals in the oil and gas sector, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs tailored to the oil and gas industry.
- Ensure training content aligns with regulatory and industry standards, including OSHA, NEBOSH, and ISO certifications.
- Facilitate classroom-based, online, and practical training sessions effectively.
- Assess trainees’ performance through examinations, practical exercises, and assignments.
- Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, certifications, and assessments.
- Continuously update training materials to reflect changes in industry standards and practices.
- Conduct HSE awareness campaigns and workshops as needed.
- Provide guidance on risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in HSE training within the oil and gas sector.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training tools.
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations.
- Proven track record of successful HSE training delivery or related roles.
- Ability to engage and inspire participants to adopt a safety-first mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in conducting practical safety drills and simulations.
