Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE Specialist to join our team in Cairo. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with a strong understanding of HSE regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
– Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
– Provide HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors to promote a culture of safety.
– Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
– Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of HSE activities, including permits, inspections, and incident reports.
– Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into daily operations.
– Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives, and suggest improvements as needed.
– Stay updated on relevant HSE laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
– 1 to 3 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in facility management, construction, or industrial sectors.
– Professional certifications such as IOSH, or OSHA is highly desirable.
– Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards in Egypt.
– Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
