What’s the opportunity?
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced HS&E Manager to provide high quality, competent and specialist Health, Safety & Environmental support to our hard and soft facilities management hospital contracts. The role will work alongside other HS&E team members, providing regulatory guidance and functional leadership, supporting it to achieve improvements in HS&E compliance.
Working with the Health HS&E Team, the holder will support the Head of HS&E with implementation of a risk based training schedule and HS&E Management Assurance plan, as well as the deliverance of a the Divisional HS&E Strategy and a robust reporting process that allows predictive assessment of potential health, safety and environmental related failures.
As the HS&E Manager you will belong to a related professional organisation; ideally being a graduate or chartered member of IOSH or IEMA and hold a NEBOSH diploma. You will have a good understanding of management systems (i.e. OHSAS 18001/ISO 14001) along with excellent IT skills. You will have excellent interpersonal skills that will enable you to influence and communicate at all levels within the organisation, together with experience of delivering training and conducting HS&E audits. Experience of working in a healthcare environment that delivers both Hard and Soft services environment is desirable but not essential.
Our contracts are located throughout the UK therefore the willingness and ability to travel and a valid UK driver’s licence are essential.
