Job description
A a full-time HSE Supervisor is needed to join our prestigious HSE team in Apapa.
Purpose
- The purpose of this role is to implement policies, practices, and operations for the HSE functions, in order to maintain the information and knowledge on new developments in the area of health, safety and environmental standards and loss prevention measures in APM Terminals Apapa.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- NEBOSH IGC qualification as a minimum
- Proven record of HSE related experience preferably from port operations and/or heavy equipment industry.
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Requires good verbal and written communication skills in English Knowledge
- Experience in handling dangerous goods and emergency situations.
- Computer skills (Microsoft office)
