Professional Knowledge & Experience:
- A master’s degree preferably in natural/environmental resource management, particularly in the management of special and hazardous waste (DS, DSD).
- Possessing at least one accredited certificate related to health, safety, and environment (HSE).
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in managing special and hazardous waste (DS, DSD) in the oil and gas sector.
- Relevant professional experience in health, safety, and environment (HSE).
- Previous experience with a multinational company in the Oil and Gas industry will be a significant asset.
- Understands the technical processes and working methods relevant to the position.
- Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in environmental modeling, impact assessment tools, and data analysis.
- Strong communication skills for interactions with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and local communities.
- Excellence in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Proactive working style and willingness to develop new tasks to increase the effectiveness of the HSE Function
- Must be able to communicate with employees of all levels in the organization to help ensure a clear understanding of Groupement HSE rules and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills; a team orientation, and the ability to deal effectively with personnel at all levels.
- Ability to identify environmental issues and develop effective solutions.
