HSE Engineer Job in Giza
Job Description:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive HSE program that aligns with the company’s mission and vision
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential safety and environmental hazards
- Investigate incidents, track corrective actions, and develop safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, codes, and standards
- Provide in-house HSE training to managers and employees
- Advise operations and technical functions on all aspects of HSE issues
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors
- Maintain HSE systems in accordance with ISO Quality performance standards
- Arrange for internal and external audits, and give recommendations for necessary improvements
- Investigate and report on complaints of hazardous working conditions
- Ensure that all incidents are reported, recorded, and analyzed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Determine accident statistics, analyze their consequences, and define the required corrective/preventive actions.
- Enhance the work environment to promote and drive employee engagement and team effectiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in an HSE Engineer role
- Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE programs
- Extensive knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, codes, and standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
