HSE Engineer Job in Giza

Job Description:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive HSE program that aligns with the company’s mission and vision
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential safety and environmental hazards
  • Investigate incidents, track corrective actions, and develop safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, codes, and standards
  • Provide in-house HSE training to managers and employees
  • Advise operations and technical functions on all aspects of HSE issues
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors
  • Maintain HSE systems in accordance with ISO Quality performance standards
  • Arrange for internal and external audits, and give recommendations for necessary improvements
  • Investigate and report on complaints of hazardous working conditions
  • Ensure that all incidents are reported, recorded, and analyzed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Determine accident statistics, analyze their consequences, and define the required corrective/preventive actions.
  • Enhance the work environment to promote and drive employee engagement and team effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in an HSE Engineer role
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE programs
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, codes, and standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
