We are seeking an HSE professional to lead, promote and maintain consistency of HSE practice across the various customer groups within nbn. This is a true partnership role where you will provide leadership and coaching to senior and executive level stakeholders.
We are open to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane as locations.
Please note that this position is an 18-month maximum term role.
A bit about your role
You will be working closely with specific customer groups to help implement their improvement plans and review their risk management framework. You will work with leadership teams to champion, coordinate and execute HSE improvement/change initiatives and implement unit specific strategies. Some of your other key responsibilities will be to:
- Attend governance forums
- Management of risk improvement plans
- Undertake assurance audits/activities
- Coach and provide subject matter expertise to support nbn’s HSE Management system
- Data analytics and reporting
- Drive change initiatives
A bit about you
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a generalist safety role, ideally within Telco, Engineering, Construction or Utilities. Extensive experience driving improvements in supplier HSE performance will be beneficial. The ability will be key to your success in this role. Ideally you will be a certified leader auditor and have a relevant qualification in safety and Six Sigma Green belt or higher. It goes without saying that you have confident communication skills and can engage at all levels. You will hold qualifications in HSE or related disciplines of advanced diploma or higher.
