Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager Job in Australia – Zenergy Safety, Health & Wellbeing
Location: Sydney, Australia
This leading professional services firm is looking for a forward thinking and proactive Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to manage all aspects of the firm’s safety and health strategy. This is a highly visible role within the organisation and, as such, you will liaise with senior leadership on a regular basis, forging strong relationships with key stakeholders across all areas of the business. The role has a national focus and is extremely diverse. A key component of the role will be the development of progressive and innovative WHS strategies which focus on preventative programs rather than purely on compliance.
Key to your success will be your ability to:
Provide high level advice and consult to the business as well as build relationships with external health providers, insurers and brokers.
Develop and deliver innovate WHS programs and solutions.
Lead the return to work function
Ensure firm is compliant with legislation
Develop and deliver company health & wellbeing programs.
Identify and mitigate risk, uncover areas for improvement and develop new policies and procedures as required.
Define and manage the WHS budget
Have a good balance between strategic and operational.
To be considered for this role you will have exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills and have the ability to make a positive impact at all levels. You will be tertiary qualified with a commercial mindset and have experience with RTW within a corporate environment. In addition, you will have a strong working knowledge of WHS Management Systems, national legislation and claims management. You will also have a strong interest in wellbeing and mental health programs. It is important you can work autonomously whilst utilising your excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across the firm and deliver first class service.
