A UK based infrastructure business is experiencing an exciting period of growth, and are currently looking for a HSQE Advisor to join their forward-thinking, collaborative team. Covering various depots and sites across London, you will be ensuring a positive and compliant health and safety culture, using your knowledge of a high-risk environment to thrive and hit the ground running. Suitable applicants will have knowledge within the civil engineering/construction industry and have the ability to manage their own time and diary throughout the week.
The HSQE Advisor will be responsible for:
- Travelling to sites 2-3 days a week to carry out risk assessments, site inspections, and build relationships with operational teams
- Taking a coaching approach to driving a great culture across the business, communicating well with people at all levels of the business including senior management
- Offering guidance, support, and advice across relevant HSQE matters within the business
- Gathering information to monitor performance against KPIs, producing reports and findings to present to the senior management team
- Collaborating with the wider HSQE team to share best practice
The HSQE Advisor will have:
- A NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent qualification) as a minimum
- TechIOSH membership as a minimum
- Experience within infrastructure, civil engineering, utilities, highways, or construction is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
