Cardiff leisure centre branded a ‘health and safety risk’ by a parent


The cardiff leisure center was branded by a parent as a “Health and Safety Risk” due to the fact that the center remained opened while under renovation.

The dad, who did not wish to be named, said he was concerned about the condition Llanishen Leisure Centre in Cardiff was in when he took his son swimming on December 19.

The parent explained that, “In order to reach the changing rooms they had to walk past the swimming pool through an emergency exit”. Also, “To get to the changing rooms you had to go through an emergency door and walk round pool side,” he said.

To ensure safety, the center should be temporary closed pending when the renovation activity will be completed to avoid accident the their customers.
