The halotron fire extinguisher contains an extinguishing agent called Halotron 1. This extinguishing agent is a proven clean fire extinguishing agent designed for streaming applications in portable and handheld fire extinguishers. It discharges as a rapidly evaporating liquid which leaves no residue. This fire extinguisher is pressurized with Argon gas and is an EPA and FAA approved fire extinguisher suitable for use on Class A, B and C fires.
This fire extinguisher makes a great replacements for older Halon extinguishers, which have been banned in Europe and Australia, except for military use in the U.S. It has also been approved for use in airplane cabins by the FAA and are safe for use in confined spaces, unlike Co2 extinguishers.
