This is a temporary position of undetermined length.
Raytheon Missile Systems, LSIC (Large Scale Integration Center) in Louisville, KY is seeking a motivated professional to support our ongoing compliance and risk reduction efforts through the EHSS organization. Will: help ensure the site is prepared for corporate and KYOSH VPP audits. Collaborate with Supervisors and employees to address day-to-day EHSS issues/needs. Provide support for reviewing/updating Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs. Will perform and document ergonomic evaluations. Will support incident and near miss investigations. Will ensure inspections are conducted and corrective actions are completed and properly documented (i.e. eye wash, fire extinguisher, AED, storm water). Will be tasked with report writing, creation of PowerPoint presentations, and giving briefings to teams/groups. Will help coordinate drills (fire/tornado). Will be required to wear safety shoes as appropriate and other PPE. Physically there will be a requirement for walking, bending, climbing and lifting in conjunction with issue review, inspections and audits.
A minimum of basic working knowledge of EPA, OSHA and DOT standards.
Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
Ability to multi task and respond to emergency situations calmly and with authority
Ability to be effective and diplomatic in working with people across all organizational levels.
