Minimum Requirements:


3 years + in a warehouse environment

Attention to detail with respect to investigations and problem solving

Confidence in conducting staff meetings

Confidence in challenging different business levels

Confidence in escalating matters to the client & senior management when necessary

Good understanding of ASIB and TAPA requirements


Purpose and main duties:

Co-ordinate all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and Risk to ensure full compliance and maximum safety at DSV facilities and operations. This will include the following:

Investigate and report all Health, Safety & Environmentally related incidents in the operation

Complete relevant and professional root cause analysis/problem solving reports for all incidents

Consolidate, analyze and retain all incidents so as to ensure full traceability and visibility

Drive safety awareness through ongoing interaction with staff and leadership (take ownership)

Support Raceway HSE awareness roll out, incident “call to action events” etc. requirements

Understand, manage and drive ad hoc/new safety requirements

Ensure all related certifications in place eg. Operator licenses, certificates, flammable stores, HAZCHEM requirements (if necessary)

Support regulatory requirement with respect to OSHACT/NEMA and similar

Establish and manage monthly on site HSE forums with supporting administrative requirements

Ownership of emergency policies & procedures

Ensure compliance of all standards for contractors and visitors

Compliance audits for related equipment (fire-fighting equipment, sprinklers, cages, harnesses, ladders etc.)

Support site health/safety/environmental/security audits

Related daily, weekly, monthly reporting as required

Incumbent will need to be comfortable liaising directly with the client.
