2023 NSC Safety Congress & Expo – The National Safety Council, America’s leading nonprofit safety advocate, saw an increase in the number of safety professionals who attended this year’s NSC Safety Congress & Expo, which took place in October at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
The NSC Safety Congress & Expo, the world’s largest annual gathering of safety professionals, welcomed more than 11,000 safety, health and environmental professionals and distributors this year, marking an 11% increase from 2022 and a second consecutive year of double-digit growth. More than 50% of participants had “safety” in their job title, 58% of attendees identified safety as a primary area of expertise and 48% of eventgoers were looking to make safety-related purchases within six months of the event. In addition, those attending represented the U.S., Canada and 68 other countries.

Since its inception, the NSC Safety Congress & Expo has featured industry-leading technology, education and networking opportunities for those in safety and related fields. Exhibiting companies this year showcased a wide variety of products, including safety tools, technology and personal protective equipment.
This year’s NSC Safety Congress & Expo also featured the ninth annual “Best in Show” New Product Showcase Awards that included more than 50 products from 37 companies. Winners were:
